Yay for Birthday Presents at Dawn's House on Thursday!
First, Dawn and Grandma went to Tijuana Taco in
Lakewood,
where they both got the Enchirito with no red
sauce inside or out!
Then they went to Dawn's House where they ate lunch
and
had some fresh-brewed coffee.
Then, Grandma opened her presents!
She got a bag
of Sour Cream and Onion Chips,
a nice bottle of bubble
bath, and a pretty bottle of bath gel.
Then, they looked at the pictures on Grandma's web site,
then to Facebook where they looked at Jerry's and
Carolyn's pages
and had fun commenting on the pictures!
Then, it was Hagen-Daz Ice Cream Bar Time!
nomnomnom!

These next pictures are from the Lakewood Chamber of
Commerce
Annual Boat Cruise on Puget Sound.
The cruise starts in downtown Tacoma and
goes under the
Narrows Bridge, over to Gig Harbor,
and back to Tacoma.

The 11th Street Bridge near the starting point of our
journey.
The boat we were on is partially shown in
lower left corner.

Arrrgghhh!!
We had an Ugly Hawaiian Shirt Contest. The thirsty
pirate did not win.
Mac McDonald did, simply because the price tag was still
on this Hawaiian Shirt
so that he could return it to the store when he was
done-LOL!!!

The Vashon to Point Defiance Ferry.

Mt. Rainier in the distance. Lots of haze today.

There's a sea lion on this buoy!

The new Narrows bridge to the left, and the old one to
the right.

Towards the Gig Harbor side.

Towards the Tacoma side.

One of these two ships was in the movie "Pirates of the
Carribean."

We saw these ships sailing from our ship.
A great time was had by all!! Thank you for
visiting!
